Sam's singing talent has been described as natural, raw brilliance!!
This 12 year old New Zealander (of Rarotongan Cook Island descent) has often been likened to the young MJ - with his strong vocal confidence, powerhouse range and control! And then there's those trills.
Sam's genre is a blended mix between Pop, Soul and R&B. His musical
influences include Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, The Jackson 5, The Beatles, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Beyonce.

Global interest in Sam is rising fast - he has been on NZ National TV many times
in the past year and he's also now hitting radars all around the world.
Sam competed in the World Championship of Performing Arts representing
NZ in Hollywood in 2008. He got into the semi finals and won 6 gold, 3 silver
medals, the prestigious Industry Award and 5 plaques for Overall Junior
Champion of the World for his category.
Another of his skills includes accent imitation. There's not an accent yet
that he hasn't been able to master, in singing or spoken!!
When he's not singing or doing musical theatre, Sam's other biggest
passion is rugby. He is a walking encyclopedia on NZ rugby and is a
strong supporter of the NZ All Blacks and the Hurricanes!! He plays
rugby for Auckland Junior Grammar and Touch Rugby in summer.
Sam's top 3 goals are to sing the National Anthem at an All Blacks game,
to lead the Haka in an All Black game and to play with the All Blacks.
His long term music goal is to achieve a recording deal - and release a

Sam performed his biggest gig yet - in Coca Cola Christmas in the Park 2009 to over
250,000 people live and to millions more at home watching on TV. He performed with
Chris, Andrew and Massad - singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" - kind of MJ style.
Battle of the Bands
Sam competed in the Intermediate School Battle of the Bands with his school class
and ended up winning "Best Vocalist Award" for the night singing Pinball Wizard.
Parachute's Got Talent
Sam recently went to the annual Parachute Festival at Mystery Creek in Hamilton
and entered the Parachute's Got Talent comp singing 'Who's Lovin You" -
